Kathryn was born in Gettysburg, PA. She graduated as class Valedictorian from Eichelberger High School in Hanover, PA. Kathryn is a professional musician who began performing at the age of 8 (Piano). She was an original member of the popular singing girl group "The Pixies" and majored in music performance and languages at Gettysburg College.
While at Gettysburg College she joined Chi Omega sorority and was part of the Gettysburg College Choir. She was blessed to be part of the Gettysburg College Choir Summer World Tour. As Goodwill Ambassadors for the U.S. Dept of State over 20 countries were visited. She is proficient in English, Spanish, French, Italian and German- knowledgeable in Russian, Norwegian and Czech. She graduated from Gettysburg College with honors- Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude and class Salutatorian.
After college she continued piano studies with Laura Ellis, a concert pianist with the Philadelphia Orchestra and vocal studies with Kermit Finstad of Gettysburg College and Marilyn Cotlow, a soprano at the Met then living in Washington D.C. She was soloist with the Harrisburg Singers, the Central Pennsylvania Oratorio Society, and the Wednesday Club. She performed many leading soprano roles with Harrisburg Civic Opera, Capital Opera Sacramento, Capital Opera Harrisburg and Center Stage Opera.
Her roles include Adina in L'Elisir D'Amore, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Papagena and Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Olympia in Tales of Hoffman, Clara in Porgy and Bess, Lauretta and Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Flora and Violetta in La Traviata, Gilda in Rigoletto, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Micaela in Carmen, Lucy in The Telephone, Suzel in L'Amico Fritz, Manon in Massenet's Manon, Musetta in La Boheme, Rosina in Barber of Seville, Butterfly in Madama Butterfly, Yum- Yum in the Mikado, and Patience in Patience .
She also sang with Opera Outreach for 18 years, an educational and performing group taking opera to thousands of children each year in all schools in Pennsylvania (except Pittsburgh), ages kindergarten through university and college.

Kathryn is also a professional massage therapist and is the first woman permitted to work in NFL (Washington Redskins), and NHL/AHL training rooms (Philadelphia Flyers/Colorado Avalanche/Hershey Bears). After 8 years of working with the pros she now maintains a private practice. She was inducted into the World Sports Medicine Hall of Fame for her pioneering efforts in the pros.
She also teaches Core Strength Training, Tai Chi and self-defense and is highly trained in Judo, Tai Chi, Choi Kwon Do, Hapkido karate.
