Alexander Mason

Tenor

Name

Alexander Mason is a young tenor native to Trenton, NJ. He is a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree for Flute Performance with voice as a secondary.  Alexander has competed in competitions in New York and was awarded first prize in Harlem Opera Theater’s 2015 College Division Competition. Mr. Mason has also sung in esteemed choirs under the baton of Bramwell Tovey with the Philadelphia Orchestra in their The Sounds of Christmas concert and under Atsushi Yamada in Carmina Burana and Mahler’s 2nd Symphony for the Hand-in-Hand concert series with the New York Opera Orchestra. He also regularly performs as a soloist at The Old First Presbyterian Church in Newark, NJ. This will be Alexander’s first performance of a tenor role with Center Stage Opera. Previous appearances with CSO included Il Frate in Don Carlo and Benoît in La Boheme.
