Yelena Dudochkin

Soprano

Name

Soprano Yelena Dudochkin is known for her "gorgeous, expressive and rich voice… a true pearl of the opera” (Voice of America) and her “dramatic intelligence” (Boston Globe).  

After launching her opera career in 2009 with Opera Bostonas Podtochina's Daughter in The Nose and winning the First Prize in the Golden Voices of America competition, she been highly sought after as a concert soloist and principal in operas at institutions including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Jordan Hall, & Boston's Symphony Hall, in roles including Violetta (La Traviata), Snow Maiden (Snow Maiden), Marfa (Tsar's Bride), Brigitta (Iolanta), Norina (Don Pasquale) Chernyafka (Magic Mirror), and Manon (Manon).

Her upcoming season includes gala concerts at Jordan Hall andCarnegie Hall, as well as performances with Commonwealth Lyric Opera and Gilda in Rigoletto with Center Stage Opera.
