Tracy E. Smith received her Bachelors of Music Performance from
Moravian College in May of 2004 with concentrations in flute and
voice. She studied classical voice with Bronwyn Fix- Keller, jazz
voice with Lou Lanza, classical flute with Robin Kani, and jazz
flute with Tony Gairo.
During her time at Moravian, Tracy took part in many ensembles
and also at neighboring Lehigh University where she played with
the Lehigh University Philharmonic Orchestra. She traveled to China
with them in 2002 and just returned from a tour in South Africa
where she was involved in many performances including a benefit
concert for the Thembisa Child Welfare Agency.
Tracy was also involved in the makings of a concert benefiting
rape victims of the Lehigh Valley, with proceeds given to Crime
Victims Council. The benefit concert was held at her alma mater,
Brandywine Heights High School, and included herself and many other
music students from Moravian College.
Tracy has been involved with two other performances with Center
Stage Opera including Hansel and Gretel where she sang the role
of the Dew Fairy and Norma where she sang the role of Clotilda.
