Stacey Canterbury

Soprano

Name

Soprano Stacey Canterbury, knew from age five as she gave performances for her stuffed animals, that music and singing would always be a big part of her life. Since that time, Ms. Canterbury has made good on her dream by having created a loyal following as she engaged her audiences with her impassioned and expressive performances.

From the East Coast to the Rocky Mountains with roles like Micaëla in Carmen sung with the Wichita Grand Opera and most recently, Elisabeth in Verdi’s Don Carlos for the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Leonora in Il Trovatore and The title role of Aida with Opera Fort Collins. She has garnered the praise of critics. “Canterbury unveiled a voice that combined superb purity of tone and breath control… The riveting performance earned her several brava’s from an appreciative audience.”

Ms. Canterbury’s is currently preparing for two upcoming concerts in New York City with Opera Collective and Regina Opera in March and April.
