Rebecca Shimer Soprano

REBECCA SHIMER, a soprano from Norristown, Pennsylvania, is a graduate of Westminster Choir College, with a Masters Degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy. Recent roles include Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Yum-Yum (The Mikado), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Iolanta (Iolanta), and Nella (Gianni Schicchi). She has performed as a soloist in the Westminster Symphonic Choir. Ms Shimer holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and Voice from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and has studied German lieder in Vienna, Austria. She is a student of Harold Evans.
