LILLIAN HOEHL, 17 years old, in 2021 played Annina in Center Stage Opera’s 2021 production of Verdi’s La Traviata. She was also in the first post-COVID theater production of the Victorian Lyric Opera Company (VLOC), From Paris to Vienna, in which she played Clo Clo in an excerpt from Franz Lehar’s The Merry Widow and sang in the chorus.
During the COVID theater shutdown, she had the speaking role of Ida in VLOC’s first ever Zoom production, A Gilbert and Sullivan Drawing Room. She has sung in the chorus for seven other VLOC stage productions: The Gypsy Baron (Johann Strauss), Robin Hood (Reginald de Koven), The Bohemian Girl (Michael Balfe), The Queen's Lace Handkerchief(Johann Strauss), and Iolanthe, The Pirates of Penzance and Princess Ida (Gilbert and Sullivan).
Lilli studies voice with Alina Kozinska, voice and dramatic presentation with Gregory Stuart, and piano with Sue McElroy. When not singing, she competes in figure skating.
