Kathryn Rictor

Kathryn Rictor

Kathryn Rictor is thrilled to be returning to Center Stage Opera. Kathryn has had the great opportunity to perform in Austria, Wales, and Italy. She was awarded a prestigious opportunity to study in Spoleto, Italy with the Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium. While there, Kathryn was able to study with such  legendary vocal coaches and teachers Nico and Carol Castel,  Maestra Enza Ferrari, Maestro Bruno Rigacci, Carol Everett and Judith Coen. She has also been able to coach with Brad Hougham, Dauri Shippey,  Pamela Gilmore and Elaine Smith-Purcell.

Kathryn has done several recitals in the Pennsylvania area and has been involved in several choral groups. She has played the Countess in scenes from “Le Nozze di Figaro” and Cunegonde in scenes from “Candide”. She was last seen as Alicia in Center Stage Opera's production of "Lucia di Lammermoor".

Along with her love of opera, Kathryn thoroughly enjoys theatre and has been able to be involved with it her entire life. She has been in many productions. Among her favorites are  “The Odd Couple”, “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”, Annie Sullivan in “The Miracle Worker, and The White Witch in “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe”.

Kathryn is a graduate of Messiah College.  She is a student of Lisa Turchi and Judith Coen.
