Delia Zielinski

Soprano

Delia Zielinski

Delia Zielinski (Nannetta) is pleased to be making her debut with Center Stage Opera.  Based in the Washington, DC, metro area, Ms. Zielinski is a recitalist and performer of opera, operetta, musical theatre and theatre.  Recent performances include Casilda in The Gondoliers with the Mount Vernon Players, Zerlina in Don Giovanni with Bethesda’s Landon Orchestral Clinic, and duet recitals, where she explored the roles of Carmen’s Micaëla and L’Elisir d’Amore’s Adina.

Ms. Zielinski has performed with the Crittenden Opera Workshop in a variety of scene work, including Susannah (Susannah), Cosí fan tutte (Fiordiligi), Les Pecheurs des Perles (Leila), The Barber of Seville (Rosina), and Die Fledermaus (Adele).  She also performed for two seasons in the chorus of the Annapolis Opera.

A native of Savannah, GA, Ms. Zielinski also has a special relationship with jazz music.  In 2006 she was a featured soloist in the Johnny Mercer Music Festival in Savannah, which celebrates the city’s own famous songwriter, who also happens to be her great-uncle. 

Ms. Zielinski studies voice privately with Mr. Anastasios Vrenios and is a recent graduate of the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory in Washington, DC.
