Born in Paris, baritone David Mimran moved to New York in 2000, armed with a law degree and the knowledge of eight languages.
His great vocal flexibility, powerful squillo and natural acting skills allow him to interpret buffo and tragic roles with intention and nuance.
David has started singing baritone in 2014.
As a bass-baritone, he has sung in dozens of performances in New York, as Sam in Un ballo in maschera, Silva in Ernani, Dulcamara in L’Elisir d’amore, Caporal in La fille du régiment, Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Ceprano in Rigoletto, Sagrestano in Tosca, Benoît & Alcindoro in La bohème, Apollo in Apollo & Dafne, Achille in Giulio Cesare, and Melisso in Alcina.
